Culture Change Training Frequently Asked Quesitons

Do most organisations have more than one culture?

The larger the organisation, the more likely it is to have separate and different cultures; what matters most in these situations is to identify each separate culture, and work out whether such a culture is a help or hindrance to overall company performance and effectiveness.

Aren't cultures grown, rather than imposed?

It's true that unregulated cultures tend to grow organically, which is fine, so long as they support the organisation's aims and performance. If they don't then changes have to be made, and given their own time to grow and embed.

Are most cultures value-based?

Many are, and of course the key issue then is whether those dominant values are legitimate and helpful or not. And some cultures are driven by custom and practice, by routine, rather than any dominant value set.

Which workshop should I attend?

The shortest course offers a good definition of culture, how it forms, and its impact; the half day session identifies a strategy to address changing the culture; and the full day session provides opportunity to put culture change ideas into practice through an extended real-world case study.
